When someone says there is no utility here, this page is the answer — and every line on it is something a person can go and do right now. 8 of the ten layers below are live. The rest are labelled honestly, including the ones that are not finished.

🔁 How it connects

RIGS are staked to earn GMTS. GMTS and USDG buy real specimens in the store. Specimens are held as onchain certificates that can be redeemed for the physical rock. Specimens are also won in the lottery and handed out to mission funders. Mission funding pays for the trips that produce the next specimens, which refill the store — so the loop feeds itself rather than depending on new buyers. The arcade and the math book sit on top as the entertainment layer, with the numbers published.

⛏️ The engine — RIGS

LIVE

10,000 RIGS minted, all sold. Staking them pays GMTS, and holding them earns a discount in the store and weight in the missions. This is what pays for the digging.

💰 The token — GMTS

LIVE

Earned by staking and spent in the store alongside USDG. Emissions are real and finite: 0.01 GMTS per block, with the pool under a public surplus check.

🪨 Real specimens — the vault

LIVE

63 hand-dug specimens catalogued, 55 with an onchain certificate. Each one is a title deed: it records the mineral, the weight and the find. It is not a picture of a rock, it is the rock's paperwork.

🚚 Redemption — the rock comes to you

LIVE

Hold a certificate and you can request the physical specimen be posted to your door. The request is proved onchain with a zero-cost marker transaction; the address itself never goes on chain and is never stored.

How redemption works

🎒 The store — buy with USDG or GMTS

LIVE

Buy a specimen outright with USDG or GMTS, split 70/30. RIG holders get 15% off at the contract level, not as a marketing promise.

🎁 The lottery — win a real specimen

LIVE

⛓️ Missions — fund the actual digging

LIVE

Mission funding is not a promise of a return; it pays for fuel, permits and days in the field. Contributors get first pick of what the trip brings back, weighted by how much they put in.

🎰 The arcade — real maths, published

LIVE

Playable games with their actual return-to-player worked out from the served lookup tables — 15 games, 69 bet modes. Not a claimed number: one you can recompute yourself.

🗺️ The ground — where this comes from

RESEARCH

Maine has 4,588 expired mineral claims and not one active — the last was filed in 1986. We publish the districts and the process. We never publish the ground we actually work.

0 active claims · 40 years dormant

🦍 Apes — the next layer

BUILT

The contracts exist and pass their tests. Registration, reviewed allocation and a delayed reveal — not a gas race. It is not mintable yet and we will not pretend otherwise.

Contracts built · art + funding pending

The honest status

🔍 What we will not claim

 • Nothing here is an investment. No yield, no promised return, no floor. Specimens are collectibles and the games are entertainment.
 • Not everything is finished. Apes are built but not mintable; there are no Ape images yet. The status labels above say so rather than hiding it.
 • The lotto is a draw, not a guarantee. You are not owed a specimen because you hold RIGS. You are entered.
 • We are not a mine. We hand-dig, we catalogue, we document. We do not own a mine and we will never say we do.

Built in the open, one layer at a time. If a line on this page is wrong, we want to know — it is easier to correct a claim than to live with one. See what changed recently.
