MARKET RATE PRICING
What you pay, where it goes
Every specimen is priced from an owner-set rate card - an estimate, not an appraisal. Bulk quartz is sold at the rockhound floor. Fluorescent material is priced by how much of the surface actually responds, and those pieces are held back from shipping until a Geiger reading exists (no readings exist yet; the counter is funded by the APE launch).
Live from the catalog
| Tier | Per Gram | Per Lb | Examples |
|---|---|---|---|
| UV-fluorescent - premium (50%+ of surface fluoresces) | $10.00/g | ~$4,536 | bright green-response pieces |
| UV-fluorescent - strong (30–49%) | $6.00/g | ~$2,722 | partial coverage on the face |
| UV-fluorescent - light (under 30%) | $3.00/g | ~$1,361 | small or faint response |
| Display-grade crystal / beryl / pegmatite | $0.50/g | ~$227 | quartz points, beryl, mica books |
| Bulk quartz (rockhound floor) | ~$0.04/g | $20 | bowls and mixes - priced as rock, not as specimen |
| Precious opal | priced per CARAT by owner estimate | SPX-056..059 - never priced per gram | |
| Study / held pieces | not for sale | catalogued and shown, deliberately unpriced | |
These rates are an owner-set estimate pending independent appraisal - the same card the catalog is priced from. They are not an appraisal, and fluorescent pricing is per gram by how much of the surface actually responds, not by weight alone.
All prices are USD-equivalent, settled in USDG or GMTS. The GMTS/USDG split onchain: 30% GMTS, 70% USDG (per SpecimenCertificate.sol).
Hold a RIG and get 15% off the store
The store contract applies a flat 15% whenever your connected wallet holds at least one RIG. It is not a ladder: one RIG gets the same 15% as fifty.
Two honest caveats. The discount reads your wallet balance, so RIGS that are staked do not count toward it. And there is no APE discount today - Atomic Apes grant placement access, not a discount on specimens.

Treasury = Ledger 0x9111…C08E
Treasury sales are paused for now: the vault is display-only. Everything below is what the contract does when sales are open.
When a specimen is bought the contract takes payment in two parts:
Both parts go straight to the payout wallet - the treasury Ledger 0x9111A15482A16827edC1c6F6E65CC46A7A95C08E - enforced by the contract itself. What the treasury then spends on digs, equipment and shipping is a project decision, not an onchain split. There is no team allocation and no marketing budget.
Separately, the fee router splits trading fees 10% treasury / 40% buyback vault / 50% to its index-buy leg - read live from the contract (1000 / 4000 / 5000 bps, exactly 100%), with each leg accumulating onchain and readable by anyone. The allocation is owner-configurable, so these figures come from the chain, not from a page.

Common questions
A: Not from the site - treasury sales are paused and the vault is display-only for now. Certificates held by collectors trade on OpenSea in the meantime.
A: RIGS, PerpetualEngine, HolderLotteryV2 and the settled legacy lottery are all owned by Ledger 0x9111. APE will be owned by Ledger at deploy time.
A: 100% to the specimen treasury (Ledger). The onchain SpecimenCertificate.sol enforces the 70/30 USDG/GMTS split. No hidden fees.
A: Yes - open secondary trading on OpenSea or any marketplace that supports ERC-721.
