The badge carries its own artwork and metadata straight from the contract, so it renders in your wallet and on marketplaces without depending on our website staying up. It is a keepsake first and foremost.

Recognition plus a real specimen

The honor badge — a badge NFT minted to your wallet, with artwork and traits stored onchain.
A specimen certificate — a separate certificate NFT for one specific, genuinely hand-dug specimen. The certificate is the title of ownership.
Physical redemption where we can ship — US holders can request the physical piece; it ships from Boston, MA. UV-fluorescent pieces wait for proper measurement and shielding.
Worldwide ownership either way — the certificate is the asset. It trades on any marketplace, and the physical handover opens wherever and whenever we can legally ship.

Every specimen is dug, weighed, and photographed by hand. Catalog entries carry the real data we have today and get corrected onchain as our identification and measurements improve.

HOW RECOGNITION IS DECIDED

Reviewed, then published onchain

We look at what a wallet actually did — contributions visible onchain are the record we go by.
The honor class and the specimen are assigned by hand, one at a time, by the founder.
Nothing is promised in advance. Badges are issued when they are issued, and every issuance is a public transaction anyone can verify.
Badge and certificate are minted by the treasury Ledger. We never hold your keys, and we never ask for them.

An honor badge is recognition. It is not a promise of profit, a share of anything, or a claim on future revenue. The specimen certificate does represent one real rock that we actually dug — that part is concrete and it ships when shipping is possible.

This is an experimental, small, founder-run program. No guarantees, no roadmap promises — just real rocks, real records, and thanks where it is due.
