How activation works (no NFT burns)

GMTS burns activate missions. Entry burns tokens - supply sinks, missions fund. That's the token doing its job.
Fees cover the real-world costs - permits, gas, tools, shipping supplies. Receipts published after every trip.
Your NFTs stay in your wallet forever and work as passes: staked RIG = loyalty multiplier on your haul share. Machines & lottery untouched.
Nothing found = entry rolls into the next mission. No lost funds.

Area: Hand-dug field mission on our own ground. Targeting quartz, mica, beryl/aquamarine, and UV-fluorescent material pending measurement.

Window: When the Northeast season closes · dates follow the haul report

Target: Mission #1 surplus rolls in automatically

Area: Outside the Northeast - new states, new pegmatites, new material classes for the catalog

The stockpile goal: enough material pulled this season to keep the catalog stocked for a full year - so holders can always get real specimens without waiting on the next dig. Big finds get split into more pieces - more spots filled, more price points, more holders holding real minerals. Missions continue after the season in new areas outside the Northeast.

Ships from a US fulfilment point. Specimens are often tiny - switch to ounces for thumbnails and pool pulls. USPS bills a 1-lb minimum on Priority, so the lightest packet prices the same as 1 lb.

Bulk pools - how the big bowls work

Some finds are a pool, not a single piece - like our 633.8g UV-fluorescent bowl of 30-40 pieces. When you hold a pool cert, you own one small piece pulled at random from that bowl (a single fluorescent chunk, 1-2cm, 3-6g - never a big slab) - the whole bowl is never one cert. Every pull is weighed and photographed before it ships. Big quartz bowls work the same way: the pool stays in the treasury, chunks ship out one pull at a time.

What we dig - and what we split

Common: smoky/clear quartz, muscovite mica books, feldspar, cleavelandite, apatite, pegmatite matrix pieces · Uncommon: beryl (including aquamarine), columbite, tourmaline, garnet, amethyst · Special handling: any UV-Fluorescent specimen remains unverified unless supported by certified lab data.

A 3-lb smoky quartz cluster isn't one specimen - it's a museum cluster AND six clean points AND a bag of small points. Splitting finds means more winners, more price tiers, more catalog spots filled. Small low-weight pieces carry the value - a thumbnail piece can outprice a 50 lb block.
